United Airlines has dropped the price of their flights from Toronto to Tokyo and Osaka, Japan down to between $661 and $681 CAD roundtrip including taxes!
The flights have 1 stop each way, in Chicago.
From Osaka, it’s a 26 minute train ride ($17) to the beautiful city of Kyoto if you use the special rapid trains on the JR Kyoto Line.
There are a *lot* of dates available.

1. Try the following Google Flights search:
Google Flights: Toronto to Tokyo, Japan
Google Flights: Toronto to Osaka, Japan
– click on the departure date box to open up the calendar view and browse for cheap date combinations
– look for the dates that are $661 to $687 CAD roundtrip.
NOTE: I have seen these flights come up for about $70 less when searching through Skyscanner.
2. Go to Skyscanner
– Search for a flight from Toronto to Tokyo or Osaka, Japan
– Use the same dates you found on Google Flights
