TORONTO RAPTORS (9-12) at BROOKLYN NETS (14-9)

Friday, 7:30 p.m., TSN4, 1050 AM

SCOUTING REPORT

On a night when the Raptors are going to need every defensive edge, they can get, they will head into the lion’s den without top defender OG Anunoby, who remains out with a left calf strain. The Nets are 7-3 since James Harden joined the Nets. Harden sat out one of those games, a loss to Washington. The other two losses since this Big Three were formed were to Cleveland. While the Nets are scoring 127 a night, they are giving up 124, so the team still is dealing with some issues.

MARQUEE MATCHUP

Pascal Siakam vs. Kevin Durant

The last time the Raptors were on the floor with Durant, he was being carried off Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena court while fans cheered. Whether Durant holds that against the team, or just some overzealous fans, remain to be seen. Durant appears all the way back from the ruptured Achilles that cost him all of last season. He’s No. 2 in the league in scoring, averaging 30.8 points a night, and has averaged 27.7 a night against the Raptors in 20 previous meetings.
