After an embarrassing 5-4 OT loss to the Ottawa Senators Monday, the Toronto Maple Leafs are looking to rebound against the same team tonight.

Much like the last game against the Senators, any of the Leafs big guns are solid guys to build around.

Auston Matthews ($8,900) posted a 36.8 point performance Monday, while Mitch Marner ($7,800) put up 11 in his own right. In his return to that line, Joe Thornton ($3,800) provided great value with a 15 point night.

Other cheaper value plays from the Leafs could be the likes of Jason Spezza ($3,200), who is averaging 6.9 FPPG, or Justin Holl ($3,500), who is averaging 6.2 FPPG.

The Senators surprised the hockey world Monday and will look to do it once again. Brady Tkachuk ($6,100, 11.1 FPPG), Thomas Chabot ($5,700, 10.1 FPPG) and Evgeni Dadonov ($3,300, 7.4 FPPG) could provide solid value as well.

I like the matchup of Chicago against Detroit today and think Kevin Lankinen ($7,900) could be a solid start.

Connor McDavid ($8,600) is averaging 19.3 FPPG this year but his 5×5 shooting percentage is half that of his career average right now. Look for that to rebound sooner rather than later and it could come against the Winnipeg Jets.

At $4,800, Bo Horvat has been providing solid value scoring 8.8 FPPG this season and is looking to get back into the points column after only tallying one point in Vancouver’s last five games.

Dominik Kubalik ($4,900), Tyler Ennis ($2.500) and Nikolaj Ehlers ($6,700) could all be solid plays today, too.
