NEED TO KNOW
- Decimated squad: With injuries suffered Friday by Kyle Lowry (fractured thumb) and Serge Ibaka (ankle sprain) the Raptors’ roster is even thinner than it has been. Neither will play Sunday night, but one reinforcement is on the way. Toronto recalled rookie big man Dewan Hernandez from the G League and he’s expected to be available.
- On a roll: After losing their first game of the season, the Lakers have rattled off seven victories in a row, the latest a 95-80 win over Miami on Friday night. It’s the first time since 2011 that a Lakers team has won seven straight.
- Up and down: It’s been an inconsistent shooting stretch for ex-Raptor Danny Green. He was 1-for-7 from the floor in Friday’s win and went 3-for-5 the game before that. The game before that, he was just 1-for-4, but went 5-for-9 the previous game. He’s averaging 9.8 points per game and shooting 43.9 per cent from three-point range.
Monday at L.A. Clippers, 10:30 p.m.
