Despite the inability to meet with prospects ahead of the NBA Draft due to the coronavirus pandemic, teams around the league are still gathering as much intel as possible on players.

According to Jonathan Wasserman of Bleacher Report, a handful of teams are giving prospects IQ tests during interview calls over Zoom. Teams such as the Golden State Warriors, Toronto Raptors and Boston Celtics are among those to using this method.

Of course, teams giving prospects IQ tests or quizzes is not new. Some players in the past have often shared some of the odd questions teams will ask. The idea of the questions is to demonstrate how a prospective player dissects a problem and comes to a solution in a timely manner.

Teams have not been able to meet with prospects in person due to the coronavirus pandemic but have been permitted by the NBA to interview players virtually. Currently, the NBA Draft is scheduled for June 25 but is expected to be pushed back until September.
