The Toronto Raptors will be without several key players when they visit the Dallas Mavericks on Friday night.
Raptors starters Pascal Siakam (shoulder), Fred VanVleet (hip) and Kyle Lowry (rest) as well as reserves Rodney Hood (hand) and Paul Watson (knee) have been ruled out.
Toronto also listed Jalen Harris (foot) and Yuta Watanabe (ankle) as doubtful against the Mavericks (41-29), who hold a half-game lead over the Portland Trail Blazers (41-30) for sixth place in the Western Conference.
The Mavs and Blazers are attempting to fend off the seventh-place Los Angeles Lakers (40-30), who will be relegated to the play-in tournament should they fail to move up in the standings.
Siakam averages team-leading totals in points (21.4) and rebounds (7.2) per game for the Raptors (27-43).
VanVleet has club-best totals in assists (6.3) and steals (1.7) to go along with 19.6 points per contest.
Lowry is averaging 17.2 points per game for Toronto.
