Raptors-Celtics postponed, but NBA playoffs to resume

After a night of deliberation and meetings between players, the NBA will to resume the 2020 NBA playoffs, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN.

Players from the Milwaukee Bucks initiated a strike on Wednesday in protest of police brutality, specifically in the case of Jacob Blake who was shot seven times in the back by police in Kenosha, Wisconsin. The Orlando Magic, Houston Rockets, Oklahoma City Thunder, Los Angeles Lakers, and Portland Trail Blazers followed suit in a decision that surprised team owners.

However, Game 1 between the Toronto Raptors and the Boston Celtics will be postponed, along with the other two playoff games that were set to take place on Thursday, Wojnarowski adds.

More to come.
