On Kyle Lowry, the No. 4 pick and Raptors free-agent targets – The Athletic

For the first time in a long time, the Raptors might be involved in every part of the NBA offseason.

For starters, they have a lottery pick, selecting fourth on July 29. They have their own key free agents, both unrestricted and restricted, and could create cap room to chase players from other teams. They also, as always, remain a strong contender to make a meaningful trade, especially because they have not chosen a clear timeline for contention yet.

To help sort through all of that, I’ve recruited The Athletic’s John Hollinger, the former vice president of basketball operations for the Memphis Grizzlies and a member of Basketball Analytics Mount Rushmore, to have a chat.

Eric Koreen: John, thanks for doing this.
