Jaylen Brown‘s strong start to the 2019-20 season is on pause.
Stevens didn’t reveal the nature of Brown’s infection but noted Brown could join the Celtics for either Thursday’s game in Charlotte or Saturday’s game in San Antonio.

Kanter hasn’t played since Boston’s season opener due to a knee contusion, and the C’s could use his help on the glass: The Knicks outrebounded them 51-44 on Friday night while collecting 16 offensive boards to Boston’s three.
The Celtics and Cavs will tip off at 7 p.m. ET on Tuesday night, with coverage on NBC Sports Boston beginning at 6:30 p.m.
