The Bubble would unintentionally lead to a lot more trades this free agency, possibly Giannis Antetokounmpo’s too.
The NBA Bubble in Disney World, Orlando was the NBA’s brilliant response to deal with Corona and still enjoy basketball. 22 teams, all in close proximity. This has never happened before. This would have led to players spending time with other teams’ players, coaches. They also would get to have a closer look at how the other team operates and their chemistry off the court.
In my opinion, all of these would factor in and lead to a lot more trades this off-season.
Giannis Antetokounmpo has been visibly frustrated with his team’s inability to back him up, and internally it must be eating at him. It has been said time and again that the reigning MVP might ask for a trade if the Bucks cannot provide the support that Giannis needs. If such a situation arises and Giannis decides to stay in the East, here are his top 2 options:
1. Miami Heat
The Miami Heat has been pretty popular in the league thanks to its coach Spoelstra and his player development methods. The Heat have a young core, with an experienced floor commander in Jimmy Butler.

The Heat has everything that the Bucks seem to lack, and that might be a key attraction factor for Giannis. They can carve out a super-max deal for Giannis, and give him a home for a better part of the next decade.
Moreover, Miami is a far more attractive place to stay than Milwaukee for the NBA superstar and with the team suiting his needs, he could very well want to move there
2. Toronto Raptors
The Raptors decimated the Bucks last season in the Eastern Conference finals. Giannis and co. had no response to how Nick Nurse had shaped up his team. Kawhi Leonard led the way for the Raptors and with him having left this season and the Giannis looking for a new home, this could very well be a match made in heaven.
Giannis joining the dynamic backcourt duo of Fred VanVleet, Kyle Lowry and Pascal Siakam seems like a mouth watering prospect. Another good perimeter shooter and the Raptors could launch a proper surge for the NBA title.
The Raptors can manage the financial aspect and they make a compelling case for Giannis to look at.
