NBA club Toronto Raptors has decided to terminate a contract with Ukrainian basketball player Oleksiy Len. This was reported by the team’s press service.

Len signed the contract with the Raptors last summer. He represented the team in seven matches. The Ukrainian basketballer missed the last matches due to NBA protocols related to Covid-19.

Oleksiy has been playing in the NBA since 2013: he represented Phoenix Suns, Atlanta Hawks, and Sacramento Kings.

Len’s contract with Toronto Raptors was set for one year.

As we reported earlier, on February 17, the Court of Arbitration for Sport in Lausanne (CAS) will hold a hearing on the appeal of the Ukrainian Association of Football (UAF) against UEFA’s decision to award the Ukrainian national football team a technical defeat in the League of Nations match against Switzerland.

The national team of Ukraine received its loss on November 25, 2020. The football match between Ukraine and Switzerland was canceled due to an outbreak of coronavirus infection in the Ukrainian team.
